Boomdabash: A Story of Music, Passion, and Captivating Images

Boomdabash: A Story of Music, Passion, and Images

From the Sanremo stage to everyday life, Boomdabash is more than just a musical group: they are a vibrant energy, a force that unites sounds, emotions, and above all, people. For me, as a photographer, capturing their essence is a privilege that renews itself every time. Boomdabash’s music is not just a blend of genres, but a meeting of cultures, vibrations that resonate far beyond mere listening.

A Unique Encounter: From Sanremo to Brindisi

My first encounter with Boomdabash was a deeply moving experience. It was their return from Sanremo, at Brindisi airport, and their energy was already filling the air. Photographing them then was like an introduction to their world: a world of genuine smiles, friendship among colleagues, and above all, a passion for music that can only be felt, not described.

At the airport, every shot I took told not only the story of the group but also of the person behind each artist. Every movement, every smile, every glance gave me the chance to tell a part of them that usually escapes the public eye.

Behind the Scenes with Boomdabash: The Essence of Music

Being part of one of the most intimate moments with Boomdabash allowed me to see music from a unique perspective. Photographing the group backstage, during rehearsals, between laughter and hugs, made me understand how important their connection is. They are not just artists on stage; they are friends, a family that supports each other, and this is reflected in every song they produce.

This connection, this sense of belonging, is what makes their sound so powerful. It’s not just about notes and words: it’s the bond they share, and it’s a bond I always try to capture in every shot.

Photographing Boomdabash: Between Emotions and Music

Photographing Boomdabash is never just about technique. Every photo I take during their concerts is an attempt to freeze the moment when their music becomes flesh, sweat, and passion. Each shot represents a lived emotion, a moment that goes beyond the stage and reaches the heart of the audience.

I often find myself chasing the perfect balance of details: the movement of a musician’s hand, the light reflecting on the instruments, the intensity of the looks they exchange among themselves and with the crowd. Every image I capture is a story intertwined with that of the band, a story of sacrifices but also pure joy.

A Life on Stage, Behind the Lens

With Boomdabash, I have stood on immense stages, places many only dream of seeing as spectators. I was there, behind the lens, capturing everything unseen but deeply felt: the adrenaline before going on, trembling hands from excitement, genuine smiles, tears after a standing ovation.

I was with them at the Arena di Verona when they triumphed at the RTL Power Hits, under a rain of lights and emotions. I followed them backstage at Battiti Live, where every concert is a celebration, a warm embrace to the South. And I will never forget the wild energy of the Jova Beach Party, where every shot was an explosion of sand, music, and freedom.

Every stage has been a journey. Every shot, a fragment of history.

Being their official and personal photographer is not just a role: it’s a profound source of pride. It’s the recognition of a trust built over time, a true friendship made of respect, complicity, and countless shared moments — joys, victories, miles traveled, and sleepless nights.

A Bond Beyond Photos

My relationship with Boomdabash goes far beyond mere work. With each of them, a genuine bond has formed, based on respect, trust, and moments shared behind the scenes and under the stage lights.

With Blazon, our interactions are always creative and spontaneous, between a shot and an idea born on the fly. Giampaolo is a careful presence, always there when needed, with that quiet sensitivity that makes all the difference.
Giampaolo, in particular, is not just their manager to me: he is a mentor, a reference point, a constant guide who believed in my vision even before I did.

Biggie and Paolo (Paya) are powerful frontmen, tireless on stage and always authentic off it. Biggie has a spirit that pulls you in: just one look and you know something big is about to happen. Paya is a solid, genuine presence, able to welcome you with simplicity but also rare depth.
And Ketra… Ketra is the musical genius, the producer, but also someone who knows exactly when to give you space and when it’s time to laugh together.

With them, it was never just “press the button and shoot.” It was about living experiences, sharing parts of the journey, growing together. And you can feel that in every photograph.

Thank you, Boomdabash. Thank you, Life.

Thank you for every trust you’ve given me. For every time you made me feel one of you. For every smile that pushed me to shoot, even when the light was low and the emotions were overwhelming.

I owe them so much.
I owe Boomdabash the chance to grow, to express myself, to believe in what I do. They have been more than a band to photograph: they have been and still are an important part of my life. They believed in me, lifted me up without ever making me feel one step behind. They taught me that true strength lies in the team, in trust, and in sharing.

And thanks to life for letting me find a family in music.
